Vendor Manager - Servicing Valuations

Job Summary

Manage vendor relationships to create positive interactions, recruit new vendors to build panel depth, and negotiate contract terms. Monitor market capacity to ensure adequate coverage meets client Service Level Agreements while analyzing performance to identify expansion opportunities. Conduct regular coaching and counseling of vendors to ensure compliance with standards, develop training programs, and resolve escalated concerns. Create and maintain SOPs for panel health, track expired documentation, and provide timely reporting to management. This role requires full-time authorization in the United States without sponsorship and involves working in a fast-paced environment with periodic travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • 3+ years of vendor management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of Valuations and/or mortgage servicing processes, procedures and technology
  • Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to read, write, and maintain operational reports and workflows

Desired Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Solid work history in the mortgage or real estate industry
  • Knowledge of Valuations, Real Estate and/or mortgage servicing processes, procedures and technology
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional business relationship with vendors and internal staff
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially the ability to work in multiple systems at once
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, using collaboration and communication tools to stay connected with team members and management
  • Capability to plan, track and deliver work products on schedule while maintaining a high level of quality of productivity
  • Excellent analytical skills, including advanced spreadsheet analysis skills
  • Effective in a fast paced and collaborative environment
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Is creative and maintains effective problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in decision making and presentation
  • Ability to meet deadlines, plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
