Job Summary
Provide day-to-day financial guidance and leadership for Customs and Border Protection Inspection Technology programs. Execute and report on financial activities, including purchase orders, requisitions, vendor payments, and invoice approvals. Establish vendor meeting cadences, conduct quarterly performance reviews, and generate monthly status reports and weekly activity data. Coordinate maintenance, logistics, and relocation services across prime and subcontractor contracts while resolving contractual issues and ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and security requirements. Direct assigned personnel, manage operational budgets, and lead special engineering projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent
- 3+ years of financial management
- 3+ years of personnel management
- CBP Background Investigation (BI)
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
- Strong Financial skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to be a self-starter
- Desire to work and succeed in a rigorous and challenging dynamic business environment
- Excellent writing, presentation, verbal skills, report preparation, and technical writing
- Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and direct varied programs and tasks involved within the daily activities of the contract
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications

- PMP
- Knowledge of federal government contracting environment
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations, DHS policies and procedures, and Federal Travel Regulations
