Vendor Coordinator/Routing

Sub-contract component processes such as heat treat, black oxide, chrome, grinding, and machining. Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations, confirm orders, and maintain vendor files on all correspondence. Monitor back orders, track late parts, and push through job packets for urgently needed parts. Coordinate parts delivery and pickup, and close jobs in an expeditious manner. Identify, record, and communicate problems relating to product, process, and the quality system while conforming to all Quality and Safety requirements. Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process and perform other duties as requested.
