Job Summary
Vendor Clause Assessment Team (VCAT) Reviewer role reviewing supplier modifications to risk-type and legal clauses during contract negotiations, operating to defined playbooks and guidance, evaluating/approving standard clause deviations on behalf of RTC and Legal, reviewing non-standard provisions, providing risk-type language to Contract Authors via the CLM system, coordinating with RTCs and Legal SMEs for complex deviations, and participating in UAT and updates to playbooks/guidance; requires German language proficiency, experience with CLM software (Sirion, Icertis, Docusign), detail-oriented, process-driven, and collaborative, within Deutsche Bank’s Global Procurement framework; hybrid working model based in Bucharest, Romania.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation principles and legal/risk clauses
- Knowledge of the German language is mandatory
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting contractual language
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management software (e.g., Sirion, Icertis, Docusign)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in clause assessment
- Ability to follow defined processes and operate within established guidelines
- Strong communication and escalation skills
- Problem-solving capabilities for identifying and addressing clause deviations
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
