Vendor Asset Coordinator, Full Time

Job Summary
Vendor Asset Coordinator manages loaned, borrowed, and consigned instruments and implants. Responsible for ensuring instruments and trays are received and processed per OSHA, DOT, FDA, AAMI standards and manufacturer guidelines; manages loaner data within instrument tracking and vendor management systems; runs reports, analyzes performance, and communicates results to CSPD Director and vendor managers. Collaborates with Value Analysis, surgical service clinicians, and vendors to improve loaner/consignment tray processes using Lean principles; tracks surgery schedules to ensure timely delivery of loaner trays; assists with vendor check-in/check-out and verification that trays arrive in clean, optimal condition. Maintains documentation, coordinates labeling, storage, and retrieval of loaner instruments/trays; conducts quality control checks, audits, and preventative maintenance; provides reports to vendors and leadership and supports training on IFUs. Adheres to university policies and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements; capable of working evenings, nights, and weekends; positioned within a university-based health system. This role is Full Time and located in Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- CSPD Certified
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Experience with instrument tracking systems and vendor management
