Vendor Administrator

Job Summary
Vendor Administrator responsible for creating and maintaining vendor records in Yardi, managing vendor relationships by responding to questions about setup and compliance, coordinating with site staff to ensure vendor communications align with policy, and facilitating ongoing compliance throughout the company’s relationship with vendors. Duties include managing the vendor inbox and inquiries within 24-48 hours, inviting vendors to set up VendorCafe/VendorShield accounts, assisting with vendor setup questions, monitoring vendor status, removing duplicates, updating defaults, and liaising with risk management to ensure vendor compliance. Requires 2+ years in vendor management, accounts payable, or related financial experience, proficiency in Yardi/MRI/QuickBooks and MS Office, strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 2+ years of vendor management, accounts payable, or financial experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Proficient in financial management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and analytical problem-solving skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of work
- Preferred Qualifications: Education: Associates’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient in financial management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
