Job Summary
Maintain vending machines by keeping them full, clean, and orderly while performing required maintenance and minor repairs. Receive snack food and soda orders, conduct weekly inventory to order products accordingly, and fill machines from product in the on-site vending room. Handle cash accurately using a cash register and calculator, communicating clearly with co-workers, management, and guests in a professional manner. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. A high school diploma is preferred, along with basic math skills and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Knowledge and ability to perform basic mathematical principles
- Ability to operate a cash register and calculator
- Ability to handle and accurately count cash
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Requires a high level of commitment to customer service
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous vending experience not required but preferred
