Job Summary
The Ground Support Systems (GSS) SW Developer will primarily engage in software development and integration activities for ground support systems, with an initial focus on the Eurofighter program. Responsibilities include defining and maintaining software requirements specifications, designing product software from requirements, identifying continuous improvement opportunities in software design and testing environments, developing code using agile methodologies, and conducting software qualification processes with automated testing tools. The role demands an expert-level understanding of software development, specifically within the aeronautics industry, and strong technical skills in .NET, C#, C++, and related technologies. Proficiency in both written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level is required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering
- Expert level with at least 4 years of experience in aeronautical software development
- Knowledge of .NET technology development
- Proficiency in C#, C++, ADA programming languages
- Experience with MS Visual Studio environment
- Familiarity with major DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with SQL language
- Knowledge of Windows Forms, WPF, and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with Microsoft Prism and MEF
- Experience with software versioning and configuration management tools
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and programming language Sensetalk
- Ability to analyze software performance against hardware resources
- Experience in developing web and on-premise applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems
- Experience with requirement tracking and software design tools (DOORS / RHAPSODY)

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of aviation systems related to flight data acquisition and recording
