Vehicle testing & data analysis support engineer (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Execute static and dynamic issue replication testing for hardware and software problems across Geely, Volvo EX30, and Polestar 4 vehicles. Retrieve and analyze vehicle data logs including CAN, FR, LIN, DHU, and TCAM files to identify root causes and update JIRA tickets per business KPIs. Manage incoming field warranty parts and in-vehicle installations to ensure quick turnaround, while independently tracking assigned JIRA issues through the 8D process. Support engineering teams with hands-on diagnostics and escalate blocking points as needed. This role requires a Driver's License (Class B) and proficiency with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape), with travel to EU markets and overseas locations required for on-site investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in whole-vehicle testing, especially in the infotainment, connectivity or EE fields & technical reporting
- Experience in extracting CAN, FR, LIN logs, including installation/modifications of related CAN-harnesses when required
- Proficient with Vector tools (i.e. CANo, CANape) and DSA
- Experience in connectivity and infotainment domains
- Fluent in English
- Flexible regarding travels to EU countries, other oversea markets if needed, for investigation of issues on-site
- Driver License (Class B)
- Hands-on experience in whole-vehicle testing, particularly in infotainment, connectivity, or EE systems
- Strong knowledge of CAN, FR, and LIN log extraction, including CAN harness installation and modifications
- Proficiency with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape), DSA, and technical reporting
- Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally for on-site investigations when required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in extracting, reading and analyzing TCAM and DHU log files for Geely 2.0 or 3.0 architecture
- Experience with ADAS testing and functions
- Experience in other vehicle systems (Propulsion, High Voltage, Chassis, Vehicle Engineering)
- Notion in German and Chinese
