Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive tire testing at the Huntsville Proving Grounds, including test driving, vehicle setup, mounting, and balancing tires. Develop new tests to improve result definition and study tire performance while operating to a defined test priority sheet. Prepare and present detailed evaluation reports to SRI engineers and liaise with test groups and OEMs for joint testing. Maintain equipment, circuit facilities, and warehouse areas, assisting technicians with setup and breakdowns. Support marketing and motor sports events with travel up to 50%, adhering to IATF standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or Engineering degree preferred / High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years' experience in the tire or automotive industry
- relevant experience, autocross, club / professional racing or race team participation
