Vehicle Test Engineer / Senior Engineer (DoE)

Job Summary
Conduct whole vehicle testing on production and prototype vehicles at the Millbrook Proving Ground, collecting, verifying, and analyzing data for activities including durability, NVH, road load, ADAS, and vehicle dynamics. Schedule facility utilization, configure data acquisition equipment, and lead issue investigations while coordinating repairs and rebuilds. Compile progress and certification reports, make engineering judgments on vehicle performance, and liaise with customers on witnessed type-approval testing. Requires a degree in a relevant subject, practical mechanical/automotive skills, and a UK driving license. Full-time on-site role with flexibility to travel; SC clearance and criminal disclosure check required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree level education in relevant subject
- Full UK driving licence & own transport
- SC clearance or ability to achieve this
- Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
- Flexibility to travel as and when required

- Basic knowledge of vehicle network systems – CAN, LIN, FlexRay
