Job Summary
Carry out pre-delivery inspections, vehicle health checks, and minor repairs on new and used vehicles while adhering to manufacturer guidelines. Perform checks on lights, tyre pressure, mechanical, and electrical components, then conduct road tests to verify fault rectification. Execute vehicle services and fit additional accessories requested by customers, completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard. Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues and report further work requirements.
Required Qualifications
- minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- motor industry experience (brand or non-brand)
- full and valid UK driving licence
- self-motivated
- ambitious
- eager to learn
- ability to work to and maintain the highest of standards to all vehicles that take a spin through our doors
