Job Summary
Carry out pre-delivery inspections, vehicle health checks, and minor repairs on new and used vehicles while adhering to manufacturer guidelines. Perform vehicle services, fit customer-requested accessories, and conduct road tests to verify fault rectification. Execute basic mechanical and electrical diagnostics, check lights and tyre pressure, and complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
Required Qualifications
- full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- prior experience as a mechanic
- prior experience as a Vehicle Technician
- prior experience as an experienced Mechanic
- work experience in a dealer group
- work experience in an independent garage
