Vehicle Technician – Automotive Electrical Diagnostics

Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automotive electrical and mechanical systems using scan tools, multimeters, and wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, modules/ECUs, communication networks, and electrical faults while resolving DTCs and intermittent issues. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs, then accurately document diagnostic findings and technical recommendations. Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify root causes of vehicle quality and performance issues, supporting testing, data collection, and special projects. Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures. Requires hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and reading technical manuals. Valid driver's license and personal toolbox required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Fleet Technician, or similar
- Strong hands-on automotive electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic systems, sensors, modules, and communication networks
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service procedures
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must have your own professional toolbox
