Job Summary
Develop and execute the OTA Readiness Plan to ensure vehicle launch and Over-The-Air capabilities prior to launch. Design and create payloads and dashboards to monitor VeSCoM performance, optimizing SQL statements in relational databases and big data platforms. Drive resolution of development issues lacking a natural owner or requiring multi-functional coordination with SW VSE, SIT, PQM, CRT, and PEMs. Own one or more platform capabilities including OTA refresh, Diagnostics, Network, and Communications, while managing end-to-end deployment methods for the Capture Test Fleet and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
- Two (2) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation
- Two (2) years of experience in OTA update and vehicle connectivity technologies
- Two (2) years of experience in Troubleshooting skills and improvement methodologies
- One (1) year of experience in Issue identification, support and resolution
- One (1) year of experience in In vehicle test setup and configuration for OTA execution
- One (1) year of experience in Retrieval and analysis of CGM/TCP/CAN logs
- One (1) year of experience in Operational process requirement including Back Office processes for connected vehicle services
- One (1) year of experience in Make issues and OTA impacts to specific modules and features
- One (1) year of experience in Problem-solving skills to triage and resolve ambiguity issues that frequently surface during Over-The-Air update
- Must be able to report to local office
