Vehicle Supply Technician

Job Summary
Fuel, clean, and disinfect assigned ambulances daily, including exterior and interior surfaces, equipment, and medical supplies. Stock medical supply closets at AOC, ambulance stations, and sub-stations while receiving and inventorying supplies per SOP. Perform deep cleaning and decontamination as assigned, ensuring compliance with Universal Precautions and infection control policies. Maintain security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, and confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA and company standards. Complete required CPR and First Aid recertification and adhere to all safety and grooming requirements for assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certification
- Currently licensed with state motor vehicle operator's license
- Clean driving record as approved by company vehicle liability insurer
- Successfully completed a CEVO Ambulance driver safety classroom and practical course
- Successfully completed a CPR course by the AHA or other appropriate organization within 30 days of hire
- Successfully completed a First Aid course by the ARC or other appropriate organization within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, using good judgment
- Ability to reach, push and pull
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and kneel for long periods of time
- Ability to walk a distance of one quarter of a mile without difficulty
- Ability to lift and maneuver 150 pounds without difficulty
- Ability to lift and maneuver 150 pounds up and down two flights of stairs without difficulty
- Must possess a high degree of personal integrity and responsibility
