Job Summary
Design and implement application- and middleware-level software features for advanced driving and connected vehicle platforms using production-quality C++ and Python. Develop and maintain modules that interface with sensors, compute nodes, and vehicle systems on Linux and QNX-based environments. Contribute to system integration, debugging, and optimization while collaborating across software, hardware, and systems teams for code reviews and release processes. Set up or adapt build flows and related tooling to support scalable middleware components for next-generation vehicle software.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong C++ AND Python programming skills
- Hands-on system software development (drivers, filesystems, sockets) on Linux and/or QNX
- Solid understanding of embedded software/systems and interfaces such as Ethernet and CAN
- Proven track record shipping production software in automotive, aerospace, defense, robotics, or a nearby embedded domain
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field highly preferred
