Job Summary
Sells/leases new- and used-vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Responsibilities include writing complete sales orders, processing paperwork, utilizing dealership sales control and follow-up systems, attending product and sales training, staying up-to-date on products/services, maintaining an owner follow-up system for repeat/referral business, developing prospects, greeting customers, assisting in vehicle selection, explaining performance/benefits, describing available equipment, offering test drives, and obtaining proper identification prior to test drives. Requires ethical, professional conduct and supports transportation needs of vehicle purchasers; promotes customer satisfaction and referral business. Certifications and licensing include a State Sales License and a valid driver’s license; successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
