Job Summary
Vehicle Operations Specialist role in an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company focused on safety, vehicle readiness, and testing. Responsibilities include monitoring vehicle software systems, executing test cases in scenarios such as construction zones, roundabouts, and heavy pedestrian traffic, documenting system performance, and providing concise verbal and written feedback on non-ideal vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of sensors (LiDAR, Cameras, Radar), and collaborate with Software and Hardware Engineers to troubleshoot issues during shifts. Requires a pristine driving record, ability to operate complex software, and strong communication skills; onsite in San Francisco, CA on a 6-12 month contract. Required Qualifications
- Pristine driving history (no major infractions in the last 5+ years)
- Cannot have more than 1 violation point
- Tech literacy
- Ability to navigate complex software interfaces and troubleshoot basic hardware/connectivity issues
- Strong written English communication
- Strong verbal English communication
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environment
