Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I (Manheim)

Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the Auction (VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options). Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle; associate Tracker device to WO# and install on the OBD port or strap the 2nd generation tracker around the steering wheel. Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles; flag “no key” cars. Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone and report transport damage as needed. Take a digital image of the vehicle upon receipt and provide sale identification windshield code to the driver through the registration/check-in area. Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and supporting safety activities. Perform other duties as assigned by manager (e.g., assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction lanes). This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of auction/vehicle registration experience (preferred), and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Regular physical activity incl. standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Drug testing is part of the pre-employment process; Cox Automotive is a drug-free workplace.
