Job Summary
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on company vehicles, diagnosing issues, conducting inspections, and assembling components using power and hand tools. Service and maintain the SRC fleet, ensuring preventative maintenance and installations are carried out per instructions. Fault find mechanical faults in breakdown situations and anticipate repairs affecting operational continuity. Complete accurate records for all work using Service and Inspection schedules and maintain tool and equipment functionality. Comply with the Factory Production Control Manual, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, and ensure Personal Protection Equipment is maintained and used correctly. Requires Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance, welding experience, and Health and Safety training.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent
- Health and Safety trained or working towards
- Experience working with vehicles
- Welding experience
