Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform vehicle maintenance, repair, service and troubleshooting as per vehicle manufacturer recommendations and Timberline specifications. Maintain the snow-cat fleet to support daily grooming requirements and ensure operational reliability and safety of road vehicles. Assist Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to track service hours and scheduling. Demonstrate basic troubleshooting, welding, fabricating, and repair skills; participate in training and pursue advancement to Mechanic Level II. Complete paperwork accurately and timely; adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE. Maintain orderly work area, uphold professional image, and ensure regular attendance. Must have a valid driver’s license and Timberline-approved driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license
- Timberline approved driving record
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks timely
- Excellent welding and fabricating skills
- Good communication skills (oral, written, reading comprehension)
- Motivation to learn required job skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work on feet, stand/walk up to 8 hours in all weather
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs routinely, up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to operate routine office equipment and communication systems
- Timberline vehicle mechanics must maintain personal set of hand tools on site
