Job Summary
Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to all safe work practices and policies while moving company equipment safely on the yard. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and routine services such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication on fleet vehicles and machinery. Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues and complete daily checklists as required. Secure all equipment in compliance with facility permits and DOT regulations while maintaining facility housekeeping standards. Act on other duties assigned by management as needed to support Clean Harbors' environmental and industrial services mission.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team environment
- 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment
- 1+ years DOT inspection experience
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
