Job Summary
Ensure health and safety compliance by following safe work practices and policies while moving company equipment safely on the yard. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and routine services like oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication on all company-owned fleet vehicles and machinery. Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues, complete daily checklists, and secure equipment in compliance with DOT requirements. Maintain facility housekeeping standards and perform other duties assigned by management. This role supports Clean Harbors' mission to create a safer, cleaner environment through environmental and industrial services.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team environment
- 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment
- 1+ years DOT inspection experience
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
