Job Summary
Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld terminal or headset for each vehicle received at the auction, including VIN, stock number, and dealer details. Affix barcode stickers, place work order labels, flag "no key" cars, and direct transporters to drop zones. Report transport damage, take digital images upon receipt, and provide sale identification windshield codes. Follow all safety and health procedures, cooperate with safety leadership, and assist on sale days driving vehicles through auction lanes. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles, and physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Hourly base pay ranges from $16.63 to $24.90 with potential commission; no remote work available; must work at a specified Cox location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Less than 2 years' experience in a related field
- Safe drivers needed
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Close, distance and color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be available for day work shifts
- Must work at a specified Cox location (no remote option)
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred
