Job Summary
Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of vehicle testing facilities while developing and documenting procedures that comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements. Install instrumentation and test equipment on prototype vehicles according to engineering specifications, then provide daily operational support across multiple facilities. Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities, ensuring continuous improvement of testing and maintenance processes. This role involves customer coordination and independent root cause analysis for problem-solving. Candidates will work in California with an hourly pay range of $47.33 to $59.16.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of automotive- or aerospace-related testing experience
- Fabrication, wiring, and building control system troubleshooting experience
- A proven track record of problem-solving and independent root cause analysis
- Ability to produce clear, organized, and timely documentation
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating and maintaining climate chamber and chassis dynamometer facilities
