Job Summary
Operate transit vehicles to transport passengers, perform safety checks and vehicle maintenance, prepare/oversee logs and records, and assist in training others. Requires experience operating commercial motor vehicles, a Texas CDL with Passenger Endorsement, and a DOT medical certificate; bilingual English/Spanish. Based in Weslaco, TX and eligible for full-time work with potential for routine safety checks and ADA passenger assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the operation of motor vehicles on a commercial basis
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent
- Knowledge of motor vehicle operations and regulations
- Valid Texas Commercial driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement
- DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
