Job Summary
Remove interior components, engine and drive train parts, and body panels including spot welds and laser welds. Prepare vehicles for outer skin inspection by removing plugs and clips, then clean and package body panels for evaluation. Drive Corrosion vehicles on a rotational basis to mitigate injury risk from repetitive motion while performing heavy lifting such as tire changes and transmission removal. Maintain safety compliance, complete accurate documentation, and assist with evaluations and inspections as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Basic mechanical skills
- Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures
- Basic computer knowledge
- Minimum of four (4) years licensed driving experience
- Ability to obtain minimum of 'D' level track certification
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Must be able to drive a manual as well as an automatic transmission
- Must be able to lift to 80 pounds
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Ability to pass a drug screen and Physical required
- Must provide information and receive feedback in a concise, accurate and detailed manner
- Display ability to successfully and satisfactorily complete assigned tasks
- Must be willing and able to expand the scope of responsibilities as dependent upon requirements of the business environment
- Able to accept assigned tasks with a quality result as an objective
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently perform all responsibilities with integrity
