Job Summary
Troubleshoot and triage electrical and drivetrain issues for buses, trucks, and automobiles, allowing other technicians to handle physical repairs. Utilize five years of experience in automotive, truck, and bus repair to effectively diagnose on-highway vehicles, with a preference for Cummins certification and ASE credentials. Maintain computer skills and possess the physical strength required for safe task execution while holding a valid driver's license. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $54.00 per hour plus overtime, along with comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years experience in the field of automotive, truck and/or bus repair.
- Skills to sufficiently diagnose trucks, buses and general on-highway vehicles.
- Computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Possess adequate verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks.
Desired Qualifications
- Cummins certification is preferred.
- CDL is a plus.
- Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications.
