Job Summary
As a Vehicle Delivery Driver at CarMax, you will operate a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries, load and off-load vehicles, and facilitate home delivery transactions. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills to provide excellent customer service, as well as a clean driving record and ability to meet safety and driving qualifications. Candidates should have at least one year of customer service and delivery driving experience, while also being prepared to work outdoors and handle vehicles. Additional state-specific licensing is required in some areas.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- 1+ year of delivery driving experience or 1 year CarMax experience
- Proficient in operating a manual transmission
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements
- Adherence to all applicable CarMax policies and procedures
- Able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and winch transported vehicles during the loading process
