Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and replace vehicle cameras and monitoring systems for a commercial fleet while traveling to truck yards and transfer stations across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Troubleshoot technical issues independently and provide photo or video documentation via smartphone to dispatch. Utilize the 3rd Eye Digital Platform and Microsoft Office Suite to manage tasks, with core business hours running from 2pm to 11pm. This role requires on-call availability including weekends and involves physically demanding duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on an on-call basis including weekends as needed
- Ability to work core business hours of 2pm-11pm
- Experience with installation and maintenance of electronic systems, particularly vehicle cameras such as dash and external cameras and other vehicle monitoring devices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete physically demanding work
