Job Summary
Seasonal Vegetation Technician Helper supporting the Lead Technician in vegetation control, high-precision field work, and site infrastructure maintenance across a regional portfolio of commercial solar arrays. Responsibilities include operating equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers), assisting with herbicide application under supervision, basic fence repair and brush clearing with a chainsaw, invasive species management, vehicle/trailer handling, equipment maintenance, and documenting field conditions for reporting. Must work in outdoor, high-voltage environments with safety protocols, travel regionally, and start early (approx. 7:00 AM).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating commercial field equipment (zero-turn mowers, string trimmers)
- Valid driver’s license and comfort driving company vehicles
- Possession of a Pesticide Technician or Applicator License is a significant advantage
