Job Summary
Collaborate with gas and electric utility systems to inspect rights of ways for vegetation incompatible with state and federal regulations. Collect and enter data on handheld devices while following maps and using GPS navigation. Communicate with landowners regarding necessary work on their properties and assess all terrain, habitat, and environmental conditions. Coordinate with project managers, planners, and vegetation crews. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, one year of arboriculture experience, and proficiency operating a 4x4 vehicle on rough roads. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record and be willing to travel, though lodging and per diem are paid for overnight trips. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of arboriculture experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- A clean driving record (DMV printout required)
- Proficient in operating a 4x4 vehicle on rough and narrow roads
- Willingness to travel
- Lodging and per diem paid for all overnight travel
- Capability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
