Job Summary
VC Auditor conducts field audits of vegetation control and pole-clearing work to verify adherence to contractual, regulatory, and quality standards; documents findings using company systems; supports corrective actions; collaborates with operations and field leadership; may perform vegetation work to bring audits back into compliance; travels to field locations and interacts with property owners and clients; reports audit results and maintains detailed records; works in varied outdoor environments with equipment provided by the company.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in vegetation management, utility right-of-way work, forestry operations, inspections, auditing, or field-based compliance roles
- Strong computer and mobile device proficiency (tablets, databases, audit platforms, reporting tools)
- Ability to document findings, generate reports, and submit electronic communications
- Willingness to learn company-specific audit systems and tools
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with operations and field leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Successful completion of required field training and assessments
- Ability to travel within assigned regions and support multiple geographic areas; occasional overnight travel
- Valid Driver’s License (clean driving record) and ability to operate a company vehicle
