Job Summary
Hybr id role in North Carolina or Illinois seeking a Vegetable Seeds Legal Counsel to advise on transactional matters for the NAJAK Vegetable Seeds Business, coordinate corporate projects, support competition law compliance, provide proactive legally-grounded business advice on distribution, collaboration, IP, quality claims, and litigations, and serve as a US Data Privacy Officer. The role requires drafting and negotiating definitive agreements, ensuring compliance with Syngenta policies, coordinating with functional departments, delivering training on competition law and other legal topics, and contributing to strategic objectives within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A law degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law and in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
- At least 5+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience
- Exposure to commercial, intellectual property, data privacy, product liability, and real estate in a commercial environment
