Job Summary
Inspect mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies to ensure quality standards are met while reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and procedures. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, microscopes, optical comparators, and drop gages to assemble small, intricate components using hand tools and microscopes. Maintain steady production flow to meet weekly schedules by following detailed instructions from engineering and production leadership. Handle small parts with high accuracy and care while supporting quality and compliance processes in a manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of high-precision vacuum envelope assemblies used in advanced electronics and defense applications within a cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Experience working with small parts, hand tools, and microscopes
- Blueprint and technical procedure reading experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift 5–20 lbs
- U.S. Person status
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), cleanroom environments, or welding/brazing
