Job Summary
Design, develop, and support the virtual environment within the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops solution, administering multiple virtual images and executing security patches. Independently identify and implement updates to resolve issues, enhance security, and improve performance across development, testing, and production environments. Provide Tier 2 support for virtual environment issues while collaborating with IT Support and Applications Teams to manage application installs and optimizations. Plan, document, and track all changes to ensure clear communication and adherence to standards. Develop training sessions and documentation for the IT Support team to enhance troubleshooting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including design, administration, and support
- Strong knowledge of VDI technologies, virtual image management, and associated best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtual environments is a plus
