Job Summary
Engineer, design, test, implement, maintain, secure, and manage the full life cycle of Citrix XenDesktop, NetScaler, and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions within large enterprise and hybrid environments. Mitigate issues, monitor VDI environments, and obtain Authorize to Operate (ATO) for new deployments while providing Tier 3 support for troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Execute scripting in PowerShell or Python, prepare technical documentation, and interact with Government stakeholders to resolve conflicts. This on-site role in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD, requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and hands-on experience with Citrix and Microsoft infrastructure architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Existing/active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- On-site work in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD
- Experience performing engineering work associated with the design, development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructure for desktop application packaging and deployment technologies
- Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, AppLayering, and/or Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM)
- Hands-on experience with SQL Clustering Failover
- Knowledge of cloud, networking, and enterprise architectures
- Expertise in the Windows 10/11 – Standard Operating Environment (SOE), imaging, evergreen, etc.
- Experience with Remote Desktop Service (RDS) on Windows Server 2019/2022
- Ability to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) on Windows Server 2019/2022
