Job Summary
Lead terrestrial, mobile, and aerial reality capture projects by developing execution plans, establishing survey control, and processing point cloud data using Autodesk ReCap, RIEGL RiSCAN Pro, and Leica Cyclone. Manage multiple VDC and field operations from kickoff through final delivery, serving as the primary client contact while coordinating logistics, subcontractors, and technical teams. Train and mentor Reality Capture Technicians, conduct on-site QA/QC, and ensure deliverables meet VectorNet quality standards. Requires up to 75% travel across the U.S., valid driver's license, and ability to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in LiDAR scanning, Reality Capture, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), BIM, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing technical projects from planning through completion.
- Experience leading field crews and mentoring technical staff.
- Experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Experience operating terrestrial, mobile, and/or aerial LiDAR systems.
- Experience with Autodesk ReCap, RIEGL RiSCAN Pro, Leica Cyclone, or comparable point cloud processing software.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, and construction documentation.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%-75% as required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English Language
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and overnight travel as project demands require.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% throughout the United States.
- Must maintain a professional home office suitable for remote administrative work when required.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Geomatics, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Experience with NavVis VLX, RIEGL, Leica, FARO, or similar reality capture systems.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, aviation, healthcare, government, or commercial facilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience.
- Experience with Digital Twin development and construction verification.
