Job Summary
Lead small internal and consultant teams on MEP projects with a hands-on approach, organizing operations to increase efficiencies and accountability. Partner with the VP on customer presentations, support BIM coordination and detailing, and analyze documents to determine scope and requirements for cost estimates and proposals. Prepare and execute BIM Project Execution Plans, manage project members and consultants, log hours, and monitor KPIs to meet profitability targets. Provide technical leadership and mentoring, deliver training to internal and partner teams, identify technology best practices, research new tools, and document lessons learned. Participate in company meetings and assist in the hiring and recruitment of technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- MEP project experience
- BIM/VDC expertise
- Leadership capability for small internal and consultant teams
- Hands-on approach to project delivery
- Technical expertise in BIM Coordination
- 3D Revit Detailing skills
- AutoCAD deliverables capability
- Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and documents to determine scope of work and material, labor, and equipment requirements
- Ability to prepare, document, and execute BIM Project Execution Plans
- Project Management capability to manage project members and outside consultants
- Ability to monitor KPI and team's Production to meet profitability targets
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring for project teams across all disciplines
- Ability to provide technical training to internal and partner teams
- Ability to identify technology best practices and develop tools and workflows
- Ability to research new technologies and deliver them to add value
- Ability to document lessons learned for design and construction technology strategies
- Ability to participate in the hiring and recruitment process for Technical Staff
