VDC Manager I

VDC Manager I to join Ryan Companies’ National VDC Department in Tampa. The role supports project teams in applying VDC processes to reduce risk and improve outcomes, manages BIM coordination and clash detection, and leads coordination meetings from design through early construction phases. Responsibilities include managing BIM execution and kickoff activities, creating and updating VDC Guides and project engagement plans, interpreting owner requirements related to model validation and turnover, coordinating with trade partners and design stakeholders, producing federated coordination drawings, assisting with RFIs and schedule updates, supporting the estimating process with model quantity take-offs, leading VDC-related communications, and contributing to RFP responses and development pursuits. Candidates should have extensive BIM tool proficiency (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360/AC...), experience coordinating multi-discipline teams, strong problem-solving and presentation skills, and a willingness to travel/relocate as needed. Bachelor’s degree in a BIM-related field or related two-year certificate plus 2+ years of experience and 5+ years of BIM/VDC construction experience are stated as requirements.
