Job Summary
VDC Manager leading BIM/VDC coordination for complex commercial projects in Atlanta. Develop and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs); coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams through the virtual design process; facilitate clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution; review and manage coordinated MEP drawings and submittals; support constructability reviews and risk mitigation; ensure field-implemented coordinated models with QA/QC support; mentor VDC Engineers and BIM team members; help develop and maintain company VDC standards and training; collaborate with operations, project management, and field leadership to deliver landmark projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of construction industry experience
- Strong background in commercial construction VDC/BIM leadership
- Experience managing coordination efforts across multiple trades and stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead large-scale BIM coordination processes from project kickoff through closeout
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
