Job Summary
Lead BIM and VDC implementation across assigned projects by establishing execution plans, developing detailed 3D models, and conducting clash detection to minimize rework. Facilitate coordination among architects, engineers, and contractors using digital platforms while applying VDC methodologies to optimize planning, scheduling, and cost estimation. Provide training to project teams on best practices and recommend process improvements based on emerging technologies. Work primarily in an office environment with occasional site visits for project support, collaboration, and training, requiring travel throughout the United States as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle phases
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms
- Working knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applied experience
- Progressive experience leading BIM VDC efforts within the construction industry
- Electrical construction experience
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites throughout the United States and to company headquarters in Denver, CO, as needed for project support, collaboration, training, and business operations
- Under applicable laws and regulations, IME conducts background checks on all final candidates
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred)
- Electrical construction experience preferred
- Certifications in BIM VDC-related technologies are a plus
