Job Summary
VDC Field Layout Technician role at Winward Electric in Ogden, UT, combines technology with field execution to translate BIM models into precise in-field layouts using Trimble RTS and FieldLink. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in electrical construction or field layout work
- Experience operating a Robotic Total Station (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and model-based layout concepts
- Experience (or exposure) to tools like Trimble FieldLink, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
