Job Summary
Develop 3D, 4D, and 5D models for site safety and logistics plans while creating clash reports for coordination meetings. Run trade coordination meetings, capture minutes and RFIs, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Perform design model quality control reviews, support Plan + Control management, and manage vendor relationships and billing. Collect KPI data, oversee scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for Digital Engineering services, and provide software training to project teams. Maintain relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify risks. This role supports Suffolk's Mission Critical business within the Digital Engineering Group, leveraging BIMs and data integration to reduce construction risk and cost.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in an accredited industry related curriculum
- 1-5 years of VDC related design and/or construction experience
- Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings, to navigate 3d models, and to identify different building systems
- Competency with the following applications: Procore, Autodesk Suite, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam at a minimum
- Maintains high service levels even when working under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative partner on a team
- Highly organized and detail oriented; able to prioritize and multi-task
- Monitors delivery; identifying, managing, or escalating potential risks
- Maintains responsibility for day-to-day interaction and relationships with all project stakeholders
- Regularly required to sit for long periods of time
- Frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
