Job Summary
Support the VDC department by developing HVAC, piping, and plumbing models, creating new project setups, and processing Revit model exports for 2D CAD backgrounds. Execute site setups on Google Drive, BIM 360, and FTP sites, import MAJ files for pre-population, and tag and dimension drawings for field installers. Assist with project closeouts, drawing archival, and prioritizing safety during work tasks, including occasional travel to local job sites. Requires 1-2 years of industry experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of industry-specific experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCad
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Working knowledge of Navisworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular)
- Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences
- Must be organized
- Attentive to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Capacity to effectively work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to travel occasionally to local job sites
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school completion or Associate's Degree in a related field
