VDC Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage and analyze models from architects, engineers, and contractors to identify coordination and constructability issues, developing 3D Revit models as needed for coordination. Collaboratively conduct BIM coordination meetings, perform clash detection, visual walkthroughs, and clash-free signoffs to ensure projects meet schedule and budget targets. Assist the MEP & VDC Manager in maintaining BIM contracts, exploring advanced VDC applications like 4D scheduling and 5D cost, and executing the BIM close-out process including final as-built models. Conduct field checks for QA/QC and provide site reports during occasional construction site visits.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year construction technology experience
- An understanding of basic construction processes, procedures, and technologies
- An understanding of VDC and BIM within a business
- Familiarity with construction management software and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with VDC/BIM software, including but not limited to Navisworks Manage, Revit, Autodesk CAD, SketchUp, etc.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, submittals, etc.
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- The ability to sit for long periods of time
- Intermittent movement, such as accessing centrally located office equipment
- Lifting of 35 lbs
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn as required on project sites and in the warehouse
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, or Computer Science, preferred
