Job Summary
VDC Coordinator role focusing on BIM strategy, model-based deliverables, and coordination across design and construction teams. Responsibilities include developing BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy, managing COBie data, conducting model-based design and clash detection, leading coordination meetings, producing drawings from BIM, mentoring staff, and facilitating VR walkthroughs and LiDAR/drone data integration. Must collaborate with owners, designers, trades, and suppliers, support 4D planning, and contribute to project schedules and BIM standards. Requires university-level engineering/architecture/M&E background, strong Revit/Autodesk tools proficiency, experience with healthcare projects is a plus, and willingness to travel. Required Qualifications
- University degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, M&E or related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience with focus on BIM Management, MEP model Coordination preferably on site
- Experience with Revit including interoperability tools, AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, cmBuilder, and Fuzor
- BIM-related training or certifications considered an asset (Building Transformations, BuildingSMART)
- RPAS (Drone) operator Certification (Or the ability to achieve) to operate drones on project sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative work style
- Ability to travel or commute to project site
