Job Summary
The VDC Coordinator oversees on-site digital construction activities, facilitating design coordination, identifying constructability issues, and managing schedule visualization workflows on a large transit project. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of digital construction models, training staff on software, and coordinating 3D scans. The ideal candidate possesses an Engineering degree and relevant construction experience, with knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and strong computer skills. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training
- Construction knowledge and/or related work experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Revit 2022
- Experience with Navisworks Manage
- Experience with Bentley Synchro 4D
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
- Advanced MS Office skills
- General understanding of MS Project/Primavera P6
