Job Summary
Prepare layouts, details, schedules, drawings, and shop documents for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Coordinate system integration with other disciplines, achieve spatial coordination with the General Contractor and subcontractors, and review shop drawings for conformance to plans. Generate RFIs, field points, and detailed fabrication drawings while occasionally visiting job sites to verify conditions. Complete reviews of BIM Execution Plans and create documentation for BIM workflows and standards. Participate in conceptual meetings, assist in R&D efforts, and maintain engineering standards and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of BIM and a track record of technical excellence in such field
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Navis Works or similar applications
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing and energy codes and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc) & Bluebeam Revu
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or Technology - Preferred
